Chat Games

Any online bingo room will have a chat room, which will be manned by a person known as a chat host or chat moderator. Their main job role is to help bingo roomies by answering their questions and dealing with any issues which they may have.

Now, in addition to problem solving, the chat hosts try to make all bingo games as enjoyable as possible and frequently hold games within the chat window. These are great for making the chat more fun and exciting, keeping players chatting and socialising, and also give you extra chances of winning while playing.

The prizes given out to winners of chat games tend to vary from site to site; at some sites they may give away free play bingo tokens or a small cash amount, or sometimes they give out a certain amount of bonus points, which are usually exchangeable for cash once you have a certain amount. In order to win these prizes, most bingo sites require you to be a real money player, or they will stipulate that you need to have played a minimum amount of real money bingo. This is so that regular players win the prizes and not just a onetime player abusing the sites generosity.

The types of games offered vary drastically from site to site, however we have included details of a select few for you here.

Blackjack- Simply choose two numbers that make a total of 21, for example, 12 and 9 or 8 and 13. Then, once you have told the chat host your numbers, you just wait for both of your numbers to be called out, when they are, type "BLACKJACK".

Bingo Birthdays– This one is pretty fun. You tell the chat host your date of birth prior to a game; however, you do so in a number format. So if your date of birth were the 3rd of April 1959, you would write your date of birth as follows, 3-04-59. Now, providing you have informed the chat host prior to the game, you just wait until those three numbers are called out. When they are called out, you usually type BIRTHDAY or whatever word or phrase the chat host tells you to use.

Wake up call – Pick a number from 1-75, 1-80 or 1-90 depending on your game variety, and when your number comes out, you very quickly type I'm Awake.

There are many more exciting games, and each room has different ones; however, don't worry if you've never heard of them, they're usually very straightforward and simple, and the chat host will usually provide easy instructions as well.
